What is the KFC Youth Foundation?
For more than 40,000 young Aussies working in our restaurants, KFC will be their first training school, their second family and the place where they can be themselves outside of school and home. We proudly provide our people with personal development, life skills, training initiatives and wellbeing support to help them be their best selves, make a difference and have fun.
Foundation Partners
Together with us on this journey, we have three incredible charity partners, The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia and Whitelion, who are all helping young Aussies thrive.
ReachOut is an internet service for young people that provides information, support and resources about mental health issues and enables them to develop resilience, increase coping skills and facilitates help seeking behaviour.
Black Dog Institute are focussing on new challenges and opportunities in mental health – suicide prevention, digital innovation, lived experience, youth and workplace mental health. Their work in mood disorders continues through our investigation of new and better ways to treat and prevent conditions like anxiety and depression through digital tools and novel treatments.
Supporting Aussie Youth
With over 90% of our team members being under the age of 25, supporting Aussie youth is something we’re passionate about. Together with us on this journey, we have two incredible charity partners, The Black Dog Institute and ReachOut Australia, who are both helping young Aussies thrive.
